DR. DRE TO LAUNCH NEW HP NOTEBOOK

Dr. Dre and Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine have joined forces with computer giant HP to release HP Envy 15 Beats, a limited edition notebook PC.

The computer, which will be sold with Dr. Dre's Beats headphones—an industry favorite—and mixing software, becomes available on October 22 exclusively at Best Buy. Iovine told Billboard several artists and producers "helped HP engineers fine-tune the project;" those industry leaders who provided feedback: will.i.am, Kanye West, Pharrell, Timbaland and Polow da Don.

The only thing that Apple could possibly do to keep up with this computer is to team up with AVID/DIGI DESIGN and produce an out of this world Pro Tools MacBook or MacBookPro. Apple computers are already extremely expensive and the extra money put into a DigiDesign Mac would definitely be worth it.
