MINORITY REPORT: KEITH RICHARDS, MEL BROWN

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown welcomed a baby girl early Tuesday. The girl, Brown's second child, was born at 12:11 a.m. local time on Monday at St John's Hospital in Santa Monica. "The baby is completely healthy with a good head of hair. No name has been decided on yet, and she is purely known as Baby Brown," her publicist said in a statement. Mother and baby were now resting but face a looming paternity battle. Brown says Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy is the father, a claim he has publicly disputed.

Rolling Stones member Keith Richards admitted to sniffing the ashes of his father – mixed with cocaine. "The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father," the Rolling Stones guitarist, 63, is quoted as saying by the British music magazine NME. "He was cremated," recalls Richards of father Bert, who died at 84 in 2002, "and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared." However, according to Richards' longtime manager, Jane Rose, the story isn’t true. "Said in jest," she explained. "Can't believe anyone took [it] seriously."

Now you know he sniffed his dad. Who would think of something like that?
