CELEBRITIES COME OUT FOR KEEP A CHILD ALIVE

Celebrities came out on Friday, Nov. 10, in support of Keep A Child Alive which helps AIDS- and poverty-stricken children in Africa.


The black-tie dinner, hosted by comedian Wanda Sykes and Bowie's wife, Iman, included appearances by hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, Kimora Simmons, Gayle King and Damon Dash.


Alicia Keys, who serves as the charity's ambassador, acted as musical director for the event at Hammerstein Ballroom, sharing the stage with David Bowie, Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley and Angelique Kidjo.
